Walgreen Candy Clearance

The Wags on 419/221 has their candy on clearance 75% off!  The big bags of $5.99 candy are just $1.49 now.  There are also clearanced butterfinger, nestle crunch, and lifesaver gummies bags...there are coupons available for these....I think $1/2.

$1.50 MM on Carmex Moisture Plus

Right now the Carmex Moisture Plus lip treatments are supposed to be on sale for $2.99 with a $2 RR.  Well, I went to get one yesterday and my $1/1 coupon beeped because the Carmex only rang up at $0.50!  Heck, I ditched the coupon and bought the Carmex at $0.50, hoping that it would still spit out the $2 RR.  IT DID!!  I did the deal again today and it is still working.

If you get the Wags coupon policy from here, you should be able to use the $1/1 coupon (no prints available) if you still have it and have the coupon adjusted down.  Now, I'll warn you, this is a new policy for most Wags (especially in our area), so you may get a little flack from the cashier.  I'd gently show them the policy that is on THEIR website!

Walgreens Clearance Alert

The Wags on 419/221 has:

Vegetable seed packets for .09/ea (back endcap by shaving supplies) - I got several of the carrots

Ball canning jars for about $6/case (Walmart probably has them priced better) - they were all out of the lids which were marked at $1.32/ea....this would have been nice to pair with the $1/1 canning item q from the 8/1 RP.  There were also $1/1 jar case q's in the 8/1 RP.

Finally.....a Walgreens POLICY on COUPONS!

It's about time that this was published!  Now our Wags stores can't make up rules as they see fit.  This policy REALLY HELPS the couponer....see the sections about adjusting coupons down and using 2 coupons on BOGO items!  No more.....no, adjusting is COUPON FRAUD....or, you can't use a BOGO on a BOGO item, you'd be getting it for FREE (duh, that's the purpose and the only reason I'm in your store).

Walgreens Clearance Find

I found a great deal at the 419/221 Wags today. They had a 5 pack of stand-up acrylic frames with a bonus 20 sheet photo paper for just $1.29. These make such good Christmas gifts, especially when you put pics of the kids and let them decorate the frame for grandma!  Found these in the middle aisle end cap near the school supply row.

As a side note....they had PLENTY of the $0.19/ea 10-pk pencils there, so don't worry that they're out of stock on such a great buy this late in the week.

Walgreens: Free Bengay No-Mess Pain Relief / Massaging

I saw this deal on Hip2Save, tried it today and it worked!

This Bengay is on megasaver all month at Walgreens for $4.99.  You can get a $5 coupon here by filling out their form.  If your Wags doesn't adjust coupons down, you can always see if they'll ring the product up at $5.00 (that's what my store mgr decided to do). You can also get a $3 coupon from coupons.com on my right sidebar.

Walgreens: Colgate Toothbrush Clearance

On 5/14 I found a bunch of the Colgate toothbrushes on clearance for $0.50/ea. These were at the 419/221 Wags in the back endcap near the shaving section.

There are various .75/1, .50/1, and .40/1 coupons from past SS inserts.

Walgreens Inventory 4/28/10

Just wanted to let you all know that the Wags on 419 Roanoke/Salem is out of the Clio trimmers that are FARR this week.  There is a sign stating that due to the manufacturer's shortage, they don't have the trimmers in stock.  Bummer....I really wanted a couple of these as good Christmas gifts.  They are also out of the Plackers floss that is FARR.

On the up side, they do have Tone body wash and Stayfree in stock still.

Walgreens Clearance Items 4/22/10

I know it's not free, but Wags on 419 has Wet n' Wild lipsticks and eyeliner pencils on clearance for $0.49/ea.  There are also some lip glosses and other little make-up items for $0.49-0.79/ea.  These are in the standard clearance section in the back of the store on the endcap (in the deodorant/shampoo aisle).

Wags is out of the Nature's Bounty supplements that are on special this week as of this morning.

The U by Kotex that are a part of the monthly RR deals has been moved off of the endcap and in with the other feminine hygiene products.

Bayer low dose, 32 ct, are free after RR wyb 2 this week.  Buy 2 @ $2.99/ea and use 2 IP's from here (if they're still available).  Pay $2.98 oop (or get a filler and use an RR) and get back $3.00 RR.  Thanks, DealSeekingMom

Pilot FriXion pens and highlighters

This week at Wags, you can get a 3pk of the Pilot FriXion erasable pens and highlighters for $1.19. Use the $1 coupon found in the April booklet to get it for $0.19/ea.

Better yet.....buy 3 and submit for a $4.50 rebate!!! That's a $3.93 MM!!

I bought each kind yesterday to see if they even worked before I posted this....and to my suprise THEY WORK GREAT! The "eraser" erases the pen or highlighter mark with friction instead of the normal method which means you don't rip your paper or have left over marks!

Inventory alert: The 419 Wags is out of the pens as of this morning and there were only 1-2 highlighter packs when I left. Wags in Salem had nothing! If you want to get in on this deal, keep checking back as they may stock a little each day or get more in when the truck comes in.

Warning on Walgreens Dr. Scholl's Deal

I tried to do this Dr. Scholl's deal today at the 419 Wags, but the in-ad coupon would not work for the heel or ball of foot inserts like Jenny at Southern Savers suggested to do. The picture on the coupon is for the full size insole, and although the coupon doesn't specifically state it has to be the full insole it beeped at the register and would not go through.

I just had the items voided off of my order and the coupons returned to me, so I wasn't out that awful much in the transaction, but I wanted you all to be aware of this.
