I feel the need to spotlight a couple of really good deals going on right now at FL.

--- There's $1/1 tearpads I found at Kroger a while back in the beer aisle (no, I don't drink, but they have lots of good coupons in there) that were $1/1 Planters peanuts.

Food Lion Clearances

Food Lion: 419 in Roanoke

Clearance items:
* Beechnut jar baby food
* TONS of deodorants of every kind...all about $2/ea (I can't imagine paying for deodorant at ALL)
* Tons of HBA items like creams, polish, and makeup
* Carmex lip balm
* One a Day drink mix sticks (box of about 10 I think)

All of these clearance items are in cardboard displays near the dairy section.

Food Lion Clearance

The Food Lion on 419 had jars of baby food for .40/ea.  I think it was Gerber, but not sure.  I have no idea if this is a good price or not, so I hope it helps someone.

Food Lion Clearance & My Trip

For those of you who like the Velveeta block cheese, the Food Lion on 419 had the Kraft version of this on clearance for $1.99. You can probably find some Kraft q's for this too.

As a side note...this Food Lion has been rennovated, but the aisles haven't been changed so you don't have to worry about learning a new layout. I am just loving this little old lady there named Bobbi.....she is the sweetest thing and LOVES people who use coupons.

Starting 5/22/10 thru 5/28/10 in select stores reps will be installing peelies on certain items. The peelies are for product surveys which will reward you generously with prepaid cash cards. These range from $15-$20 each; one per household (not sure if that means each survey item or one overall).

FL currently has Vlasic pickles and relish on sale BOGO (you don't have to buy 2 at FL...they ring up at 50% off). 

The relish is priced at $1.59, so sale price rang up $0.79.  Use the $.75/1 blinkies found right with the pickles to get a jar for just $0.04/ea!

Other pickles are also BOGO, sale prices ranging from $1.99 - .99.  Use the .75/1 blinkies on these as well to score cheap pickles!!
