Coupon Fraud

Jenny at Southern Savers always has good information about coupon fraud; see her recent post here and older posts here, here, and here.

This is a permanent link to the CIC's website of known counterfiet coupons.

Some additional things to keep in mind:

1. Don't use a coupon past its expiration date, even by one day.
2. Don't use a coupon on a product or size different than what the coupon states it is for.
3. Don't use multiple manufacturer coupons on the purchase of a single item (most all coupons state one per purchase).
4. Beware of internet printable coupons that are too good to be true or PDF's that are not directly from the manufacturer's website.

In the end, coupon fraud and misuse costs us all. Honest couponers get hassled at the stores, the stores lose money, and the prices of the products go up....not to mention the fact that you're stealing and being dishonest. A good deal is only good if you play by the rules; there's no deal good enough to cheat the system for...another deal just like it will always come around.
